Giulia Mengato, MS

I was born in Padova, a city located in northern Italy.

I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from the University of Ferrara, and Master’s degree in Veterinary, Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology at the University of Parma.

I am pursuing my PhD in the Systems Medicine Laboratory, working on the role of PAM in endocrine cell secretion.

Beyond sciences, I do have a strong interest in languages, particularly Spanish. In fact, when I was 16 years old, I decided to spend a year abroad in Paraguay. Once I came back home, I began volunteering with the same association I’ve travelled with. Thanks to these experiences I’ve learnt to adapt to environments and cultures which are very different from my own.
