Giorgia Peca, MS

I was born in Varese but grew up in Teramo, Abruzzo. I moved to Parma to pursue my university studies. I moved to Parma to pursue my university studies, where I earned a degree in Biotechnology from the University of Parma, followed by a master's in Genomic, Molecular, and Industrial Biotechnology. I am now pursuing a PhD at the Systems Medicine laboratory, where I aim to identify proteins that interact with enzymes involved in distal cholesterol synthesis.

My goal has always been to grow both professionally and personally, striving to acquire more knowledge, overcome my limits, and broaden my horizons. For this reason, my greatest passions are traveling, reading, and engaging with people; in my opinion, these are the most powerful tools we have to discover or reconsider new and different perspectives.
