Giorgia Peca, MS
Postgraduate researcher
I was born in Varese but grew up in Teramo, Abruzzo. I moved to Parma to pursue my university studies. Here, I obtained a degree in Biotechnology at the University of Parma and began my master's in Genomic, Molecular, and Industrial Biotechnology. Starting from March 2024, I undertook my master thesis internship at the Systems Medicine laboratory, where, specifically, I am involved in identifying proteins that interact with enzymes in the distal cholesterol synthesis.
My goal has always been to grow both professionally and personally, striving to acquire more knowledge, overcome my limits, and broaden my horizons. For this reason, my greatest passions are traveling, reading, and engaging with people; in my opinion, these are the most powerful tools we have to discover or reconsider new and different perspectives.
